We started off the New Year with a little engagement session capturing the relationship between Debbie & Eric, a couple who are very down to earth, very much in love, and so much fun to hang out with.

We love shooting in places that has a special meaning for our couples and this space was no exception.. it’s where all the magic began with a little wedding proposal.

So after hanging out for a bit and capturing some tender moments.. Eric looked at me with a gleam in his eye and said.. “I have an idea.”

“What do you think if I grab my bike and bunny-hop over my financé?”

Now, I have learned a few things in life.. and one of them is that when someone says they want to lay their lady on the ground and jump over her with a bike.. the correct response is… “Hell yes!”

In addition to Eric being an avid rider for many years, biking is something they both enjoy together as well. It was so fun to be able to capture this side of their personalities.

Of course, not wanting Debbie to be the only one getting dirty, I took my turn laying on the ground.

To my knowledge they don’t have any big stunts planed for the wedding in May.. but then again.. I didn’t know I’d be checking out the under-carriage of a bmx bike on the engagement shoot either. …Can’t wait to find out though.
