We’ve had a few rainy weeks here in North Florida but that didn’t stop the charming Mr & Mrs Travers and over a hundred of their closest family and friends from having a beautiful day last weekend for their destination wedding in Ponte Vedra.

 

 

 

 

After a moving ceremony at Our Lady Star of the Sea the clouds parted and the guest and the bridal party hopped on a trolley and headed to the reception at the Sawgrass Beach Club to start the party. (well, some of the bridal party couldn’t wait to reach the club)

The amazingly talented Jeffery Stoner, aside from being a rockin’ videographer, was quite the gentleman helping up my ever lovely lady Joi after she backed up and tumbled down a little drop off on the beach.

 

As always the lovely Liz Stewart created a grand ambiance with her artistry in floral design.

This very groovy ice sculpture brought up a few questions by some guests not in “the know” .. but by the end of the night it all made sense.

Heather Tramboli with First Coast Weddings made sure the event was a smashing success and was instrumental in coordinating a great group shot of all the guests.

 

 

Diggin’ in Dreamland rocked the tunes

 

They exited the evening and headed right to their preferred mode of transportation…

a tandem bicycle.. an activity they have become famous for back in their New Jersey home town.

We had the pleasure of photographing the recent wedding of Liz and Jared Johnson from Illinois who decided on a destination wedding in St Augustine. They are such a nice relaxed couple and have been together since they were kids. We had so much fun with everyone at the wedding and these guys definitely know how to throw a party…

On the day of the wedding it was a beautiful sunny day, but as soon as Liz headed to the church mother nature decided it was the perfect time to water the flowers…

Liz and Jared are currently cruising around somewhere exotic on a private yacht courtesy of Liz’s grandpa. We told them we have an amazing “private yacht honeymoon photo package”… but yet they didn’t bite.
